Comfort-Aid is designed to provide effective management of a wide variety of wounds and to protect the skin and newly formed tissue. Comfort-Aid absorbent dressings are a uniquely formulated glycerine gel pad attached to a hypoallergenic, water resistant, adhesive tape. Due to the high glycerine content of the gel, this product provides special features that assist the natural wound healing process. Glycerine is a main component in every living fat molecule and is a natural body moisturizing agent. Comfort-Aid wound dressing is absorbent and may be used on a variety of wounds such as scrapes and abrasions, 1st and 2nd degree burns and other superficial wounds.
