Governor Pays Visit to Southwest Technologies |

Governor Jay Nixon visited Southwest Technologies on Tuesday May 15, 2012. The governor came to Southwest to talk about Missouri's job growth and export business so far in 2012. The governor stated that in April, there were 6,000 new jobs created and so far in 2012, there have been a total of 35,500 jobs added to the employment ranks in Missouri. The governor used Southwest Technologies to highlight the states economic resurgence. The state economy continues to grow and the governor stated that it is because of companies like Southwest Technologies, Inc. that the growth is happening. The governor spoke in glowing terms about the aggressive marketing and selling expertise of Southwest Technologies in bringing its products to customers around the globe. Southwest Technologies Partners With The Global Orphan Project Southwest is honored to have partnered with The Global Orphan Project located in Riverside, MO in making a donation to the Haiti Relief fund to help children and families devastated by the quake. Southwest donated 6,799 wound care dressings in various sizes and shapes along with a cash donation from our employee’s Porker's Anonymous Weight Loss Group. We are supporting doctors, nurses and emergency medical workers as they work to provide the best medical care to the people of Haiti. |
